Starting as a dated 90’s builder home, this cabin was renovated down to the studs, and modernized to match the clients’ aesthetic. Exterior square footage was added to connect the indoor and outdoor spaces. The home sits at the peak, surrounded by a vista of the Olympic Valley mountains. The connection to nature was maximized by adding windows and optimizing views in all directions. Hot tub and a new deck made use of the previously uninhabited site behind the house. Bleached ceilings, board-formed concrete surrounding a two-way fireplace. A second primary bedroom suite was added, all bathrooms and bedrooms were totally transformed and modernized.
